Brush and Yard Waste

The City of Madison Streets Division provides seasonal brush and yard waste collection for all Meadowlands residents. These services are not weekly and follow a set schedule throughout the year.

Brush vs. Yard Waste
Please separate yard waste and leaves from brush. Yard waste and brush are separate collections.

Brush
Brush consists of sticks and branches you cut from trees, shrubs, or bushes. Brush must be between 18 inches and 8 feet long and less than 8 inches in diameter.

Yard Waste
Yard waste is plant material from your lawn or garden, including leaves, weeds, grass clippings, twigs, and garden trimmings. Yard waste my also consist of pumpkins, crab apples, vines, corn stalks, and pinecones.
